Babalon, Un punto di vista diverso sull'Anticristo

Ora, come sapete tutti ci sono cristiani ed ebrei messianici in attesa dell'Ultimo Giorno, il ritorno del Figlio di Dio su questa terra. Allo stesso modo sapete - credo - che diversi gruppi di satanisti attendono il ritorno del contrario del Messia, l'Anticristo, e grazie ad Hollywood e ai gruppi metal più radical non ritengo di dovervi aggiungere altro, se non che, ovviamente, c'è di più di cui discutere.

Anche i Luciferiani (da non confondere coi Satanisti) aspettano qualcuno, ed alcune delle nostre vecchie conoscenze, cioè Dee e Kelly (quelli storici, dell'Epoca di Elisabetta I) ed Alister Crowley aspettano qualcuna di ben preciso, e cioè Babalon.

In soldoni Babalon è la "donna scarlatta" (= invereconda meretrice) dell'Apocalisse che sta sul drago a sette teste ecc ecc, e i nostri Dee e Kelly qui riferiscono di un contatto avvenuto nel lontano 1587:

Crowley costruì una parte importante della sua dottrina Talemiana su Babalon, ma di questo ne parlo a breve per non mettere troppo tutto assieme.

Sicuramente rimarrete a bocca aperta a sentire della Babalon reale (cioè, della persona ritenuta Babalon dal circolo dell'O.T.O.), ma sappiate anche che noialtri abbiamo la nostra Babalon: Angie (vedi lo special 30).

Babalon con questo nome viene quindi conosciuta da Dee e Kelly, l'etimologia non è certa in quanto in Enochiano BABALOND significa prostituta ma BABALON significa malvagia. Quasi quattrocento anni dopo Crowley la eleva a una delle figure principali della sua cosmogonia, rappresentando in forma astratta l'energia sessuale femminile e la donna liberata. Altri sistemi la vedono in forma diversa, per i gnostici è la Grande Madre - nei suoi attributi più fertili e terreni; per i riti della magia rossa è l'elemento fondamentale che porta al raggiungimento dell'Elisir della Vita Eterna. Ma altre rappresentazioni esistono nelle varie culture, per esempio in India esiste una dea con caratteristiche simili, Bhavani.

Babalon è quindi una figura complessa, sia Madre delle Abominazioni che la Sacra Prostituta, il Portale alla città delle Piramidi, la Grande Madre ed altro ancora.

Il suo momento d'oro fu sicuramente a Babilonia dove il suo culto, col nome di Ishtar, era predominante in quella civiltà.
Come detto, noi abbiamo Angie, ma Crowley, oltre a descriverne la figura nei libri, si adoperò non poco a cercare la "donna scarlatta", cioè la donna fisica che fosse un'incarnazione di Babalon, in modo da poter iniziare l'era di Horus, usando la donna scarlatta come medium.

Crowley identificò sette donne diverse nel tempo come la donna scarlatta, cioè tutte le sue consorti, ed i suoi hanno continuato anche dopo la scomparsa di Alister. Per esempio nel video "Lucifer Rising" di Kenneth Angers (che trovate qui) compare Marianne Faithfull nel ruolo di Lilith/Babalon, e a fine anni sessanta / inizio settanta era appunto lei la "donna scarlatta" dell'O.T.O.

Ma la più importante finora fu senza dubbio Marjorie Cameron. Chi, direte voi? Ma niente di meno che la moglie di John Parsons, l'uomo che iniziò la ricerca missilistica negli Stati Uniti, precursore della NASA e padre del JPL, nonché convinto occultista e - seppur giovanissimo scienziato - il diffusore del credo di Thalema/Crowley nella California del Sud.
Non ne avete sentito tanto parlare perché morì giovane (era nato nel 1914) nel 1952 a casa sua in quello che la ricerca ufficiale definì un'incidente (nel suo garage faceva un'esperimento, come se i laboratori di Pasadena non gli bastassero), ma una fra le tante versioni alternative presenta che morì durante un rito di "Babalon Working" per trasformare sua moglie da "Donna Scarlatta" a Babalon, rito che creò lo scienziato nel 1946 assieme a L. Ron Hubbard, che sì, il padre fondatore di Scientology prima di questo era un occultista convinto e con Parsons lavorava al risveglio di Babalon e l'inizio dell'Era di Horus. Dopo la morte di Parsons Cameron non si riprese mai del tutto mentre come sapete Hubbard passò ad altro.

Se cercate su youtube potete trovare video di BABALON WORKING, ma non li metto qua per ovvie questione di morale pubblica.

Si scopre sempre qualcosa di nuovo.

Mi correggo. Con ogni probabilità lo sapevo già, un 3 ore dopo aver scritto il post sono andato a vedere l'Enciclopedia dei Misteri, ella voce Crowley c'era sta cosa della Donna Scarlatta, in versione sintetica.

Mi vien voglia di fornire qualche altra informazione su Babalon. John Parsons scrisse anche un libro di appunti sulla sua ricerca e su quello che la dea gli comunicava. Ve lo passo volutamente incompleto, visto che una persona di alto valore come Parsons, padre della missilistica nonché grande esoterista ecc morì poi proprio nel rito di Babalon, così si pensa. Soprattutto quando leggete del "Pellegrinaggio oscuro", e se curiosi e cercate con Google trovate molto di più, vi ricordo che Aleister Crowley in persona, una delle pochissime persone a mai completarlo, sostiene che se fatto alla lettera l'unico risultato sarà solo di perdere voi stessi, e se fatto male porterà alla distruzione dell'intero Universo. Infine se vi chiedete, ok, ma Persons, una volta completato il rito di Babalon, che ci voleva fare? La risposta è degna del film horror Rosemary's Baby: Una volta trasformata/trasfigurata/elevata sua moglie al rango di Babalon, l'avrebbe messa incinta nel rito finale per ingravidarla col nuovo Horus.

Ed ecco le istruzioni (incomplete) date da Babalon stessa a Parsons:

, se la cercate e trovate, il sito web che l'ha postato potrebbe regalarvi qualche sorpresa (o farvi perdere qualche ora, a seconda dei punti di vista).

Qui un corto che spiega qualcosa su John (Jack Persons).
Anche per chi non capisca l'inglese, il video è abbastanza (troppo?) semplice da capire.

Non è preciso in tutto, tipo tra la fine degli anni '40 ed il 1952 quando morì la clearance di segretezza gli fu tolta e ridata diverse volte, c'era di mezzo anche lo spionaggio, Parsons era pro-Israele (all'epoca un paese socialista, gli USA erano alleati ai reami arabi), la Betty per cui divorziò dalla prima moglie (era sua sorella!) all'epoca era minorenne (per questo gli fu tolto la prima volta la licenza governativa, non è che l'FBI o il Dipartimento di Difesa fossero così bacchettoni, una qualche ragione la avevano), che dopo l'OTO/Thelema fondò il suo gruppo occulto "The Witchcraft", che quando morì era un po' che si faceva chiamare dai conoscenti come Belarion Armillus Al Dajjal, un demone che avrebbe realizzato la Legge della Bestia 666 (=Crowley, morto nel 1947), che i suoi colleghi scienziati lo aiutarono più volte (soprattutto nel riavere la licenza d operare coi militari) ecc ecc, ma comunque è un video interessante.

Come disse una volta L. Sprague du Camp: Questo (= John Parsons) è un vero scienziato pazzo, come mai ne ho incontrato".
E a questa persona dobbiamo sia i motori Saturn che portarono l'uomo sulla Luna, sia quelli dei missili balistici intercontinentali delle testate atomiche.

E per finire (spero) l'argomento Babalon, da due anni esiste la versione HD di "The inaguration of the pleasure dome" di Kenneth Angers.
Prima di mettere la condivisione del film da youtube, qualche informazione.
Questo "The inauguration..." prende spunto da un evento che organizzarono i folli cultisti gli appassionati di Thelema/O.T.O./Alister Crowley nella California del Sud dei primi anni '50 che si chiamava "Come as your madness". L'evento fu così un successo che poi ci fecero un film/documentario, questo per l'appunto.
Descriverlo lo può fare solo un membro di Thelema/O.T.O./A:.A:. (le tre associazioni principali di Crowley) perchè da un lato è pieno di loro simboli, dall'altro comunque la struttura è onirica e quindi ognuno ci può dare la sua interpretazione.
Qualche parola sul cast:
Questa è la donna scarlatta dell'OTO californiano in quegli anni, Marjorie Cameron, la vedova di John Parsons



Dopo che Parsons lasciò l'OTO nel 1946 (i metodi tirannici di Crowley non gli andavano, gli scrisse), Samson de Brier era lo stregone capo, quindi sia compare con diversi ruoli sia la casa che fa da tempio set del film è la sua, in Barton Avenue a Los Angeles. Se vi interessa, de Brier fu attivo a lungo e lo frequentarono diverse stelle di Hollywood (Jack Nicholson e Dannis Hopper sono i più famosi) ed Anton laVey forse la persona non-attore più noto al grande pubblico, quello che aprì in Haigh street a San Francisco la chiesa Satanista.

Se vi viene da dire, ma chi l'ha mai sentita? è che i suoi successi, come sta canzone dal
titolo copiatissimo, sono degli anni '30 - primi '40.

potrei continuare, ma poi Stormur mi strozza per lo spazio disco usato, e quindi ultima nota del cast è il regista stesso, Kenneth Angers, che recita come Ecate nel film.

Il film è difficile da spiegare, ma nel mio piccolo segnalerei due cose:
a) la bevanda che a partire dal minuto 21:50 incominciano a bere tutti (e che gli cambia visibilmente lo stato emotivo/percettivo) è una droga psichedelica, lo yagé, estratto dall'ayahuasca.
b) e, dato che sono visibilmente e socialmente più rilassati, si danno ad un'orgia a una sessione di magia rossa tutti assieme (vedete nei passaggi veloci quando sono in stato alterato di coscienza a partire dal minuto 25:00, in alcune velocissime sequenze rosse si vedono loro tutti assieme nudi che ballano, dopo l'apparizione dell'occhio di Horus verso il minuto 30:00).

Insomma, la banda di tossici di Trainspotting non è che fosse messa molto peggio, o fossero su piani diversi.

Infatti sono per primi alcuni membri di Thelema, di cui esistono ancora quattro centri in Italia tutt'oggi, a tentare altre strade rispetto a "Babalon working".
E quindi sono al lavoro su un qualcosa di ancora più terribile ed irresponsabile interessante e curioso, "Choronzon working".
Choronzon è il demone - minore - di cui Crowley sostiene aver preso il controllo completando il pellegrinaggio oscuro nel deserto del Sahara, ed è l'angelo caduto responsabile delle allucinazioni (e qui si capisce perché Crowley usava così tante droghe nei suoi riti). Ora sono i maghi del Caos a tenerlo in alta considerazione e, ultimissima cosa, Stromboli è uno dei posti dove questi maniaci esaltati ricercatori della verità provano, per via dell'energia trasmessa dal vulcano. L'ultimo rito che conosca è stato fatto il 17 luglio 2015.

Se vi interessa di sapere come se la passino oggigiorno i seguaci di Crowley in America la risposta è: non tanto bene,
perché come potete leggere qui, ci sono fratture profonde tra i suprematisti bianchi membri dell'Ordine di Thelema e gli altri.
Anche se Crowley stesso era razzista ed il motto dei Thalemiani è: "Fa ciò che vuoi, sarà tutta la legge", ebbene, ai membri dell'O.T.O. viene ora chiesto di schierarsi o con Trump ed i suprematisti bianchi (ed essere espulsi) o continuare con l'organizzazione com'è ora.
